The Independent Case Selection Review Panel includes retired members of the judiciary, in addition to trial lawyers on both the plaintiff and defense sides.

Once LFMG selects a case for participation, it engages the highest quality, most experienced attorneys to represent the interests of it and the aggrieved party. In addition, LFMG's ongoing case commitment includes:

• Managing and overseeing the case to its conclusion, drawing on its own consultants' experience and involvement in litigation and law-office management to maximize the likelihood of success while minimizing costs all along the way;
• Monitoring the attorneys' activities and billings - providing expert management and oversight to ensure the greatest return for the aggrieved party; and
• Participating in all settlement negotiations, including the management, supervision and distribution of settlement and judgment proceeds among participants.

By accepting the listing on the LFMG website, without cost, you agree that upon contact by anyone selecting your name from the LFMG website, you will submit the matter to LFMG only and will not seek to represent the party as litigation counsel or to refer the matter to any other attorney or law firm.

You will be compensated as a referring or submitting attorney if a case you refer or submit is selected.

Why You/Your Firm Should Consider the LFMG program

As a participant in the LFMG program:
• You/your firm will be listed in the Attorneys/Law Firms section of the LFMG website. At your option, you may include an active link to your firm's website in accordance with LFMG's customs and practices.
• You are listed as an LFMG "referring attorney" familiar with the LFMG program in your geographic area, with a description of the nature of your practice. As such, any Claimant without an attorney may select you/your firm to represent their interests in the case selection process and - if the case is added to the LFMG portfolio following selection by the Independent Case Selection Review Panel - throughout all potential litigation/settlement proceedings, according to LFMG participation guidelines.
• Your firm may become qualified as potential "lead counsel." Approval as potential "lead counsel" is based on proven documentation of expertise in one or more LFMG specialized eligible case areas and approved as such by LFMG in accordance with its standards. If your firm is approved, the Claimant (s) in cases selected by the Independent Case Selection Review Panel will have the option of choosing your firm to act as lead counsel in their case, with payment for the firm's services to be based on the firm's standard hourly rates for fees and subject to LFMG's standard conditions of engagement.
