| LFMG is a nationwide management group of highly experienced professionals with substantial experience in management and finance. It offers a program that expands legal options by providing aggrieved parties with the ability to fund litigation based on fees contingent to LFMG, while case attorneys are paid for professional services on a non-contingency fee basis. It also provides the expertise, supervision and management to successfully conclude a case with limited involvement of the aggrieved party's management personnel.
LFMG selects cases for its portfolio based on specific eligibility guidelines and a comprehensive four-step
selection process that includes a final
review by a distinguished Independent
Case Selection Review Panel comprised of professionals with a wide range of exceptional legal experience and expertise, including retired members of the judiciary, in addition to trial lawyers on both the plaintiff and defense sides. LFMG's licensed proprietary system will issue a CES (Case Evaluation System) score for each potential case, much like a FICO score. Using state-of-the-art technology, CES automates the selection and administrative process. Further, it systematizes the combined legal expertise of LFMG's legal counsel, Herbert Dodell, other lawyers who participated in the evaluation process and other experts in specialized fields, thereby providing a wealth of research material.
Once LFMG selects a case for participation, it engages the highest quality, most experienced attorneys to represent your interests. In addition, LFMG's ongoing case commitment includes:
|
| |
Managing and overseeing the case to its conclusion, drawing on its own consultants' experience and involvement in litigation and law-office management to maximize the likelihood of success while minimizing costs all along the way; |
| |
Monitoring the attorneys'
activities and billings - providing expert management and oversight to ensure the greatest return for LFMG and the aggrieved party; and |
| |
Participating in all settlement
negotiations plus the management, supervision and distribution of settlement and judgment proceeds among participants. |
|
In your role as a Claimant, you will be asked to initially submit the LFMG
Case Consideration Questionnaire. If your case meets LFMG's guidelines for consideration, you will be notified and asked to have an attorney of your choosing formally submit your case for the next step of consideration. For your convenience, you may select an attorney to formally submit your case from the Attorneys/Law
Firms listed here on the LFMG website. These attorneys are familiar with the program and, based on your type of case and LFMG's approval, may even act as Lead Counsel on the case should it ultimately be added to the LFMG portfolio of cases.
Please review all information carefully, including how
our program works, cases
eligible for consideration, our
case selection process and the use of
our Independent
Case Selection Review Panel. Thank you for your interest in the LFMG program that "levels the legal playing field" for businesses and individuals located across America.
Why Should You Consider the LFMG Program?
|
| |
Many qualified law firms in specialized areas do not accept contingency fee cases; |
| |
Qualified firms in highly specialized legal areas generally require substantial hourly fees plus costs paid on a timely basis; |
| |
Many attorneys/law firms have neither the expertise, experience - or financial resources - to pursue damages in the specialized legal areas the LFMG program addresses; |
| |
LFMG's selection process helps to identify cases with solid positions and substantial damages; |
| |
If a case is not selected after review and evaluation, LFMG will recommend counsel who take such cases on a contingency fee basis. While a case may not meet LFMG's strict requirements for acceptance, it may still have substantial merit. The Claimant will not be obligated to pay for any expenses incurred in reviewing or evaluating the case. These costs will be the responsibility of the recommended firm. |
| |
If your case is selected, you may choose any attorney from the Lead Counsel section of our site who will be subject to LFMG's terms of representation. Once a case has been selected for addition to the LFMG portfolio, LFMG oversees it to a conclusion, maximizing success and minimizing costs along the way. |
