As part of its company mission, LFMG instituted the Sharing With Others program under which LFMG will donate a percentage of net profits to nonprofits listed on its website. Beneficiaries include educational institutions, charitable and other nonprofit organizations and trade associations.

The ultimate decision to accept a case comes from a recommendation by the LFMG Independent Case Selection Panel which includes a retired member of the judiciary and both plaintiff's and defense litigators, as well as from the licensed proprietary scoring system used to evaluate each case.

If the submitted case does not meet LFMG's stringent requirements, but has substantial merit, the Claimant will be referred to a qualified law firm that handles that kind of case on a contingency fee basis. This assures that the Claimants in all meritorious cases have access to the courthouse. In return, the Claimant will be required to donate two percent of the monies he or she receives to the nonprofit of their choice from those listed on the LFMG website. Consultants must also donate two percent of their net fees to a participating nonprofit or charitable organization as listed on the website. The combined percentages can translate into a significant donation.

The nonprofit will have no liability since its "participation" is limited to providing information about the Sharing With Others Program to its members and constituents. It is not recommending anything. All matters must be submitted by an attorney, which requirement severely limits the submission of matters that do not have substantial merit.

The bottom line is that through its Sharing With Others Program, LFMG provides the opportunity to raise money for a nonprofit organization at no cost to it, while at the same time offers its constituents the opportunity to obtain relief from what is probably creating a difficult financial situation. In return, LFMG asks the organization to include an article about LFMG in its newsletter, magazine, on its website or other publication, identifying the program and stating that the organization will be receiving a donation from the settlement, judgment or the award received by the Claimant.

The LFMG data base, which includes information provided by the Claimant in the Nonprofit Information Form found on the website, provides LFMG with the identity of a Claimant's designated charity. In that way LFMG can track the party to whom the charitable donation is to be made.

LFMG believes it can make a difference for nonprofits in their fundraising efforts. If you are interested and want to participate, fill out the Sharing With Others Program Questionnaire at the bottom of this page. Thank you.
